Zeroing Channels
PC: The CyberAmp series of signal conditioners have a hardware autozero function. To use
this, select the channel to be zeroed, then use the Auto Zero button. The new value for the
DC Offset will be displayed.
Macintosh: Select the channel or channels to be zeroed by clicking in the Channel Number column to
select the entire line. Then use the Zero Channel… option under the Cyber menu. The new
value for the Offset will be displayed.
Electrode Test
PC: The CyberAmp amplifier also has a built in electrode test. When you click on the Electrode
Test button, the test is immediately started and a square wave is output. After you are
finished testing, close the Electrode Test dialog to return to normal operation.
Macintosh: When you select Electrode Test from the Cyber menu, the test is immediately started and a
square wave is output. To return to normal operation, go back to the Cyber menu and click
on Electrode Test again to deselect it.
Tuning the Notch Filter
PC: To tune the notch filter using CyberControl, follow the instruction on page 125.
Macintosh: To tune the notch filter using CyberControl, follow the instruction on page 125 to the point
at which the notch filter is turned on. Then select the CyberAmp window to be tuned, and
use the Tune Notch Filter… command from the Cyber Menu.
Probe Windows
Probe Info windows display the information fields of a Smart Probe probe, and allow a user to change
the data stored in those fields.
PC: To bring up a probe window, click on the Probe Info button. To edit an item, click on the
Edit button, and then directly edit the desired field. All fields can be edited except for the
Model Number field. If there are any changes to the attached SmartProbe probe, refresh the
Probe Info window information by clicking on the Status button.
Macintosh: To bring up a probe window, double-click on the probe description cell of the channel to be
inspected.
To edit an item, double-click on the field to be edited. All fields can be directly edited,
except for the Model number field. For the Last calibration date field, clicking on Today’s
Date will copy the current date into the edit area. This window, like the CyberAmp
window, responds to the current status of the CyberAmp amplifier. If the attached
