1. In the Conversation window, in the Entry pane, click CHANGE FONT

Using Emoticons

Emoticons are graphical representations that can quickly convey feelings or opinions. They

1. In the Conversation window, in the Entry pane, click SELECT AN EMOTICON

A palette of emoticons appears.

2. Click the desired emoticon

The emoticon is inserted into your IM.

3. When your message is complete, press [Enter]

conversation. When there are more than two people communicating in an IM session, it is called

a conference. This feature is beneficial when you want to hear more than one opinion on a topic
